TEMPS D’IMAGES, A EUROPEAN FESTIVAL
A festival created by ARTE and by La Ferme du Buisson.
European? Most certainly. But with audacity and conviction.
The decision by ARTE and La Ferme du Buisson to dedicate a festival for works that are at the crossroads of stage art and images in movement has led foreign producers and programmers to take part in the initiative. With the encouragement of the organisers, participants have fully endorsed the Festival’s theme in order to design their own personal programme.
The outcome of a concerted effort where there is no place for the notion of exclusivity, the TEMPS D’IMAGES festival has emerged as an instrument that is integrally on the side of the artists. Festival organisers have established an international network of solidarity, creating venues to showcase works of all kinds, each contributing with their share of experience, ideas, artistic discoveries and cultural bearing.
The Festival’s full European programme is available at http://www.tempsdimages.org
The Founders
ARTE
When a European television is interested in living arts, it imagines TEMPS D’IMAGES.
The cultural channel ARTE opens its studios to image creators offering them the unprecedented possibility to meet and implement their art. The cultural events team of ARTE has been encouraging artists to meet with the public, stimulating them to produce hybrid objects together with figures coming from other creative horizons, and taking them all over Europe. Now in its sixth year, and currently involving ten countries, TEMPS D’IMAGES is a true success story, thanks to which ARTE is no longer confined to the small screen.
LA FERME DU BUISSON, Scène nationale de Marne-La-Vallée (Noisiel, France)

A former 19th century industrial site, La Ferme du Buisson has become a venue for the production and diffusion of art. Thanks to the multiplicity and variety of the spaces (and to the way they can be transformed), it is the ideal venue for the development of all the forms of contemporary art, from image to stage arts. The season at La Ferme du Buisson includes weekends, special nights, TEMPS D’IMAGES - all events that provide the occasion for audiences to admire the work of resident or associated artists.
