Little Mike, DJ Pone, DJ Need and Crazy B. are four DJs that have hit the international scene bigtime. Growing up in France in the 90s, the group won in 2002, the world title in Turntablism. They are outstanding sessionmen as well, having worked with some of the biggest names around, especially DJ Pone, who has played with Triptik and Alliance Ethnik. Their sound, in the spirit of American masters such as D-Styles and Excess, is a blend of genres, from jazz to the dance music of the 70s and electronics, all very professionally assembled thanks to their excellent technique. The outcome echoes DJ Shadows and Sun Ra, with a pinch of electronic music of the 90s and a dash of the rap of the 80s.
