A producer of African origins, Chinedum Nwosu, in art Shinedoe, is one of the best known female DJs in the Dutch scene. Over the past two years, her label, Intacto Records, has produced some of the most interesting pieces in the European minimaltechno scene, and her DJ set has been considered at the Time Warp as one of the most interesting around. Since 2001, Shinedoe is resident and art director at Amsterdam’s INMOTION where she periodically invites some of the most prestigious DJ/producers of the international set. Her latest release, “Dillema” on 100% Pure immediately became a 2004 hit, very often played by Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Sven Väth and Luciano. Shinedoe plays a mixture of funky minimal-techno with house, Chicago, acid and Detroit influences. Aardvark has built a solid reputation on the international dance scene on the basis of the uncompromising quality of his music. His sound is a hybrid between broken beat, house and techno as much inspired by the Detroit school as the new electronic drift.
